Submission Guidelines
The call for written submissions to the 2010 Hart House Review is open. Deadline is January 1st, 2010. Please inquire at: harthousereview@gmail.com.
The Hart House Review Editorial Board welcomes submissions of original poetry, short fiction, artwork, and photography for the publication. You may e-mail your submission to harthousereview@gmail.com. Please include your work, your full name, and a biographical description (<70 words) to be printed if your work is accepted for publication in the Review.
Before making your submission, please note the following:

The Hart House Review is open to University of Toronto students and Hart House senior members.

We do not accept work that has been submitted elsewhere simultaneously or work that has been published previously.

To be considered, all writers must submit an electronic copy of each piece to harthousereview@gmail.com along with all necessary materials as listed above.

We suggest a maximum submission of three short stories or five poems. Short story/poetry combinations are also welcome so long as they do not exceed a maximum of five pieces.

Short fiction should not exceed a maximum of 3,000 words each, poetry should not exceed a maximum of 250 lines each.

All short fiction and poetry entries must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents (.doc format) or PDF files (.PDF format).

For all artwork/photography, we suggest a maximum of five pieces. Please submit images in JPG format with resolution of at least 300dpi. If images are too large to be e-mailed, please contact us at: harthousereview@gmail.com.

It is permissible to submit the same pieces to the Hart House contests and to the Review.
